We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer responsible for the delivery of structural engineering services throughout the project lifecycle. You will be able to work independently as well as part of multi-discipline project teams.
Key Responsibilities: Delivering technically excellent engineering designs for, and consultancy services to our clients, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver an exciting portfolio of multi-disciplinary projectsPerforming a lead engineer or design management role on projectsLead, motivate, inspire and guide your team to reach their full potential and deliver outstanding resultsMentoring and facilitating the technical development of more junior resourcesDriving business development, winning work, identifying the next opportunities and supporting the winning of these opportunities. Bid preparation and submittals as requiredDeveloping and maintaining strong client relationshipsDriving and supporting a culture of safety and quality within the team.Who we're looking for:Structural Engineering professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering or similarSignificant experience at a Senior Engineer level, ideally within a consulting engineering environment including construction phase inspectionsPrevious responsibility across the full project lifecycle, including project deliveryChartered Engineering status is desirable, or eligible to apply for CPEng/NERUnderstanding of relevant Australian codes and standards and demonstrated capability in the design of large structures incorporating RC/PT concrete, steel and mass timberProficiency in structural analysis software such as RAM Concept, RAPT, Spacegass, ETABS, SAP2000 or similar.Training and DevelopmentNDY has a strong focus on the development of our staff and training will be a key element of this development whether on internal or external training courses.
