This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed structural drawings and documentation using Revit for various projects, including commercial, residential, and school buildings.Collaborate closely with structural and civil engineers to develop and refine design solutions.Ensure all drawings and plans are accurate, clear, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs seamlessly with overall project requirements.Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.Mentor and provide guidance to junior drafters, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in structural drafting.QualificationsAdvanced proficiency in Revit, with a strong portfolio showcasing experience in drafting large concrete building structures.Extensive experience in structural drafting, particularly within the commercial, residential, and institutional sectors.Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Preferred QualificationsDegree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field.Experience with other drafting software such as AutoCAD.Previous experience mentoring or leading a team of drafters.Familiarity with Australian building standards and regulations.
