What you will do: Always represent the company to a professional standard and collaborate across the business and external clients as requiredCoordinate design and documentation with other engineering and drafting disciplines and with other team membersCarry out assigned project and CAD design work as part of an integral team adhering to technical and commercial standardsCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be committed to team approach and outcomesSupport other sectors of the business on project activities ranging from feasibility to detailed CAD designProvide ongoing continuous improvement and development inputs to create more efficient workflows within the teamContribute to the ongoing development and improvement of CAD technical standards and workflowsAct as a leader in charge of standards and a growing civil teamBe prepared to take a lead CAD role on select projects within a civil or multi-discipline environmentWhat we'll love about you: Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent)Prior BHP project experience advantageousProven structural drafting experience, project experience in infrastructure structures across infrastructure, mining, water, industrial and/or oil and gas projectsStrong Autodesk Advance Steel, Revit, and BIM coordination experience are essential.Proven ability to adapt to evolving technologyMechanical drafting (Plant 3D) experience is highly regardedDynamo or coding experience is highly regardedExperience working in a design consulting environment highly regardedExcellent communication skills - able to speak and write clearly and conciselyTeamwork - works collaboratively with others including across functional groupsAbout WSP: WSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services consulting firms, bringing together approximately 5,000 talented people across 14 offices in Australia.
