We are looking for a SeniorStructural Designer to join our project team. Reporting to the Civil/Structural Discipline Manager, you will be required to initially work on a port expansion project.
Your Key Responsibilities Develop 3D structural designs for the project using AutoCAD Review of vendor drawings and design data. Manage and provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures. Communicate effectively with the project team, clients and to other project stakeholders. Produce discipline specific deliverables that meet Primero Groups, the client's and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Produce project drafting deliverables ensuring quality, schedule and integrity requirements are met. Review and provide feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data. What You 'Can Do' 5 + years' experience in mining, mineral processing structural design. Previous experience in 3D modelling and drafting in a relevant CAD package. Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data. Understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices. Knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices. Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline team environment. Proven ability to work autonomously or as a part of team. Strong problem-solving and planning skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
