As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team.
What will a day in this role look like: Providing structural design works supporting Transmission lines tenders and projects. The design work involves design of support structures and foundations. Fulfil the role of Designer and Checker within the discipline sections. Plan and conduct professional engineering works. Attend site, supplier or customer premises to ascertain or confirm project requirements. Carry out detailed engineering calculations. Develop detailed designs in sketch and drawing format. Develop technical specification documents and reports. Liaise with third party geotechnical engineers or other specialist service providers. What are we looking for you to bring to the team: A relevant four-year engineering degree acceptable for membership to Engineers Australia. At least 10 years post-graduate experience preferably within the Transmission Line Industry (desirable). Computer and MS Office proficiency. Strong understanding of principles of geotechnical engineering and foundation design. Proficiency in PLS CADD, PLS Tower, and PLS Pole.
