The role We have an amazing new role that sits in the Healthcare Funding and Strategy Hub.
You will have the opportunity to make your mark, supporting the development of Medibank's healthcare provider strategy to improve healthcare value and system sustainability through new models of care, network propositions and other strategic initiatives.

Where you can add value So, what will you be doing, you ask?
Here's what your day to day might look like: Identifying and assessing strategic issues to play a key part in driving the execution of health strategy and help improve the healthcare experience for our members.
Translating strategic priorities and goals into clear plans of action that can be undertaken by the business.
Working with other business units to prioritise activities and investment to align with strategic priorities.
Developing a robust knowledge of the Australian private healthcare sector, and how to successfully implement strategies to drive value for our customers and for Medibank.
Now, who are you?
Enough about us, let's talk about you… you are someone who thrives in dealing with ambiguity and use issue-based problem solving and other strategy frameworks to define and structure recommendations.
You may have worked in Management Consulting and/or in an in-house Strategy team in a large corporate organisation for a minimum of 2 years and will be qualified with a business-related degree.
You will have demonstrated success in structured problem solving, that includes problem definition, hypotheses testing, analysis planning and facilitating focus groups.
You will also be experienced in business case completion and other quantitative analyses (e.g.
forecasting, scenario modelling etc.
); and You might be known as a self-starter who can manage competing stakeholders, time, and priorities effectively.
You are analytical and your problem-solving ability is one of your strengths.
Your approach to work is innovative and collaborative.
It goes without saying that you will need to be an excellent communicator, with the ability to structure a story and communicate with clarity and precision to influence Executive audiences.
A background or demonstrated interest in healthcare, whilst not crucial, is desirable.
