About our opportunity Be part of an exciting opportunity in the Planning Division at City of Moreton Bay, with two Senior positions available. As a Senior Strategic Planner - City Growth Analyst , you will help shape the growth for one of Australia's fastest growing local governments, helping to build a strong evidence base to support Council's future policies and decision making.  In particular, your planning, spatial, demographic, development activity, and data analysis skillsets will contribute to the delivery of a regional growth modelling and monitoring program that informs strategic land use and infrastructure planning decision-making processes that support the needs of the Moreton Bay community. About you We are looking for someone who is looking to develop their town planning and GIS knowledge and experience in the field of urban research, growth monitoring, development activity, growth modelling, and demographic analysis. You will have a Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or Planning or in spatial science, geographical information, and data analysis (or equivalent qualifications). We are seeking candidates who can also demonstrate: High level investigative, analytical, and research skills, including proficiency in the use of a range of software applications. Proficiency in GIS and data analysis, reporting and modelling, with skills in programming languages, such as Python, highly regarded. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex concepts simply and concisely.
