We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Strategic Investment officer to join our Economic Development team at Knox.

This position will design, develop and deliver a range of strategic initiatives directed at attracting investment and guiding sustainable economic opportunities and growth in Knox.
This will involve influencing and guiding the vision for Knox's economic development function through evidence and industry insights, developing strategic economic plans and initiatives, informed advisory and forging partnerships with key industries in the Eastern region and across government and industry sectors.
This is a full-time permanent role based at the Knox Civic Centre, however we can offer hybrid working arrangements and flexible work options for the right candidate.
This is a Band 7 classified role, remuneration will be $107,507.54- $120,572.47 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will need to thrive The key selection criteria for this role are:
A comprehensive understanding of issues, principles and practices of economic and business development.Knowledge of local, State or Federal government industry support initiatives and investment strategies such as industry development and business development incentives.Demonstrated experience developing strategic plans to support economic growth in commercial and industrial precincts.Demonstrated project management experience including development of consultant briefs, contracts and project budgets and management of consultants and project working groups.Significant stakeholder engagement experience including working with large businesses and industry clusters.Ability to be agile to support innovative decision making.Ability to undertake projects involving negotiated outcomes achieved through the building of networks and relationships with strategic partners under minimum supervision.Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, effective interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.How to apply Please provide a resume and brief cover letter addressing the 'what you need to thrive' section from the position description to outline how your experience and skills relate to the role.
