Work in an organisation based on purpose, structure and process. You know that to make a meaningful contribution to our community and economy, there needs to be diligence in our operations. In this role you will Manage warehouse and inventory for the depot. Oversee material resources and logistics across the territory. Manage facilities at depot including local services contracts. Ensure compliance with Sydney Trains safety management system requirements. Monitor and report on capability solutions' impact on individuals and teams. Communicate progress where required with senior management and service providers. Ensure coordination of competency assurance assessments meets standards. Maintain accurate reports and data records. Recommend alternative solutions if initiatives negatively impact the business. Manage logistics to achieve territory maintenance objectives. Develop and maintain inventory management systems. Liaise with stakeholders for effective planning of material resources. Manage external services contracts for value for money. Maintain calibration services for minor equipment. Act as SME for internal logistics and oversee external logistics. Initiate and review continuous improvement practices in inventory and procurement. Ensure ongoing education of Rail Technology Materials. Extensive experience in managing warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management, including facilities management and local services contract management. Valid NSW Class C driver's license and experience driving a 4WD/UTE vehicle; Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain one. Expertise in Supply Chain and Asset Management principles with practical application in inventory and facilities management. Proven track record in managing procurement, supply chain, logistics, and warehouse/stores in a maintenance environment. Strong knowledge of plant, material, and external labour procurement systems, with experience managing small contracts and service agreements. Proactive mindset with the ability to drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent commercial acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in maintenance management systems, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and communication tools. Who we are Transport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
