Join our team as a Senior Storeperson at The Star Brisbane.
The Senior Storeperson, reporting to the Operations Manager, offers an opportunity to lead the safe and accurate receipt and dispatch of goods between multiple Supply Chain facilities.
Your key responsibilities: Accept and unload deliveries, informing leaders and recording all freight damage and discrepancies.Maintain inventory control registers, including the preparation and reconciliation of regular reporting of all stock movement and dispatches.Ensure a log of all deliveries and tags are accurate and stored in the appropriate location.Assist with the delivery of perishable stock items to required departments in a timely manner.Supervise and train team members within their work areas in day-to-day operational matters.What we are looking for: Proficiency in written and spoken English.Experience in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Excel.Current MR Truck license.The purpose of this role will be to receive, store, and distribute goods from the warehouse and loading dock to various business units.
With a strong understanding and commitment to Workplace Health & Safety, the successful candidate will ensure the provision of excellent service and workplace efficiency.
This position is a general labour position, with a high level of physical movement and manual handling of materials and equipment.
