SENIOR STOCKPERSON PIGGERY

Sunpork Consolidated Pty Ltd requires Senior Stockperson Piggery workers for pork production in Murray, Central Murray, Bendigo, Loddon Mallee, Hume & Grampians regions of Victoria.

Responsibilities, tasks, & duties include:

Supervise site/facilities, staffing, physical resources, safety, consumables, documentation & measurement devices;
Supervise & participate in daily livestock inspection; feed, water, health, treatment, medication, environmental parameters; Supervise & assist birthing, internal exams, minimise still births;
Breeding incl. mating & artificial insemination, records/data;
Collect, record & maintain data/records, inventory control;
Stock movement & select breeding stock & pigs for sale;
Ensure environmental, quality, safety & production goals are met;
Maintenance & compliance of QA/QC & animal welfare programs;
Company/industry training sessions & workshops.

Required qualifications & experience:

Cert III in Agriculture (Pig Production) plus 3 years' FT work exp. In med/large piggery OR min. 5 years FT work exp. in med/large piggery OR Cert III in Agriculture (Pig Production) and at least 18 months FT work exp. in med/large piggery in Australia.

Must have good work ethic & must enjoy working with pigs.
Weekend work required. Above award wages $65,835 - $80,000. ****** with resume/CV.
