Your new role will:
Develop, review and update technical documentation (guidelines, specifications, standards, and manuals) incorporating inputs from the regions, commercial services, and industry subject matter experts. Ensure standard engineering solutions meet design requirements (constructability, operability, and maintainability). Conduct safety and risk management workshops. Develop or improve existing standardised engineering solutions for distribution, transmission, generation, and renewables systems. Lead technical evaluations in equipment trial and tender events. Ensure standard designs, engineering solutions, standard documentation, and products meet relevant Australian or International Standards. Meet our business and operational requirements (e.g., Technical Rules, ENSMS, WASIR, WAER). You will have:
Electrical Engineering Degree recognised by Engineers Australia. Be eligible for Professional Membership with the Institute of Engineers Australia. Significant experience in a power asset intensive industry. Experience in distribution overhead and underground design, equipment implementation, general assembly, and installation practices. Experience in transmission and/or small renewable generation, including design, construction, operation, and maintenance. Experience in Microstation - CAD design & drafting tool.
