Senior Staff Specialist/Staff Specialist - Psychiatry, Queensland Health This role involves providing psychiatric care within the Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs Service while leading the mental health team. Services may extend across multiple locations, including regional hospitals and outreach clinics.

About us: The hub is at Rockhampton and includes community services at Capricorn Coast Hospital, Gladstone, Biloela, Emerald, Theodore and Moura Hospitals; Blackwater Multipurpose Health Service, Woorabinda Multipurpose Health Service and Outreach Clinic; Gemfields Outreach Clinic.
About the role: Provide high quality Psychiatry services to consumers of the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service and provide clinical leadership for the Mental Health clinical team.
About you: Mandatory qualifications: MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Psychiatry with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). In general, this will require Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). The position requires a candidate with a solid background in psychiatric practice. The successful candidate will also demonstrate extensive skills in facilitating effective mental health care across the continuum of adult psychiatry. What we offer: Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $528,432 p.a. is comprised of:
A salary between $210,332 - $244,313 p.a. (L18 – L24) A salary between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a. (L25 - L27) 12.75% employer superannuation contribution 17.5% leave loading Other benefits include:
