We have a strong emphasis on training and education, with partnerships with the University of Queensland and Central Queensland University.
About the Role
Contribute to the delivery of high-quality geriatric services, including acute, subacute, community, outpatient, and interim care.Manage complex behavioural patients and lead patient journey/discharge planning activities.Participate in the Orthogeriatric service and provide consultation services across the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
About You
Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist Physician – Geriatric Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory.Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in the specialty of Geriatric Medicine is required, or equivalent overseas qualifications assessed as substantially comparable.
