Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (SMO) - Urology Permanent, fixed term temporary part time and full time opportunity to provide professional expertise and clinical Urology services as rostered in the Department of Surgery STARS, Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
To participate in departmental teaching, junior doctor supervision, research and quality activities and demonstrate clinical leadership as a senior medical officer.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Operate as professionally responsible to the Director Procedural Services. Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals. Undertake urology outpatient consultations and other specialist services as required. Assist in education and simulation activities for junior medical and nursing staff, and as appropriate for a teaching hospital for the Faculty of Medicine, University of Queensland. Keep accurate digital records which meet the standards required by the Metro North Hospital Health Service and Royal Australian College of Surgeons.
