An exciting opportunity is currently available for Emergency Specialists to join the Department of Emergency Medicine at Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
The Emergency Department at Bundaberg will see an expansion with the completion of the New Bundaberg Hospital in 2027.

Your opportunity: Provide expert emergency clinical care and advice to patients to ensure provision of appropriate patient care in the Emergency Department.
Provide professional leadership in the area of emergency medicine within a multidisciplinary environment.
Provide training, education and supervision to junior medical staff and other health care team members.Several Permanent Full Time (80 hours p.f.)
and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable) and Several Temporary Full Time (80 hours p.f.)
and Temporary Part Time Positions (hours negotiable) from date of appointment until 30th June 2025 with the possibility of extension. Opportunity for Private Practice: Use of the local private hospital's sessional rooms to allow establishment of practice and referral pathwaysAssistance with credentialling and administrative support to commence private practiceIntroduction to local GP's, physicians and surgeons to facilitate referral pathwaysOur offer: We are offering a competitive remuneration package value up to $603,255 p.a., including salary between $182,106 - $266,677 p.a.
