The Mount Isa Renal Unit is in the process of expansion from a satellite dialysis unit of Townsville to providing the services of an independent unit to include a home therapies unit.This full-time nephrology position is based in Townsville and provides outreach services to Mount Isa. For Mount Isa, this position will complement the existing 0.5 nephrologist. The role in Mount Isa is to provide nephrology services to the dialysis unit, outpatients, and inpatient consults. The rotation is every 2 weeks between Mount Isa and Townsville.
