Senior Staff Specialist Or Staff Specialist Cardiologist

Job Summary: Permanent Staff Specialist Cardiologist (Non invasive Cardiology/Cardiac Imaging) required for a full-time contract in Far North Queensland. The successful candidate will work in a Cardiac Services Department with a focus on holistic care for patients with cardiac disease.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialist medical care to patients with cardiac disease
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care
• Participate in cardiac imaging and other non-invasive cardiology procedures
Location: Far North Queensland, a tropical paradise with crystal-clear waters, lush hiking trails, and year-round sunshine.
Requirements:
• Registration as a Specialist Medical Practitioner in Cardiology with the Medical Board of Australia/AHPRA
• Fellowship experience in heart failure / multi modal cardiac imaging – echocardiography and CT coronary angiography / Cardiac MRI
Package:
• Remuneration value up to $497,941 p.a. (L25 - L27) or $455,624 p.a. (L18 - L24)
• Salary: $251,527- $266,677 per annum (L25 – L27) $210,332 - $244,313 per annum (L18 – L24)
