Mt Arthur Coal are looking for a Senior SRF Scheduler to join our Short Term Planning team within Technical Services to help develop safe and efficient mine schedules. The role is offered as a Mon-Fri work week.
Some of your responsibilities include:
The ability to manage, engage, lead and coach a team of technical personnel. Be a visible and active safety leader. Mentor and guide the broader teams of production, planning and scheduling engineers to ensure that the designs and mine plans supporting the monthly to 6 month integrated planning horizons are delivered on time, to a high quality. Identify, assess, manage, and communicate risks to the execution of the mine plan to senior leadership. Monitor and track operational execution against mine plans. Effectively communicate planning outputs to internal and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to deliver key design objectives. About You As the successful candidate, you will have a tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of mining engineering/technical experience.
A strong working knowledge and/or experience base across the following aspects is required:
Deswik and/or Vulcan. SPRY (or equivalent) scheduling software. Experience in opencut mining, with drill and blast, mine planning and scheduling exposure. Exposure to through-seam mining is highly regarded. A high level of competence in mining software applications used for planning and scheduling, with Spry and Deswik highly regarded.
