Senior Speech Pathologist

This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (pro-rata part-time/temporary positions less than 18 months), and a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (pro-rata part time), under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme. This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
To recognise ongoing service in this role, once the successful candidate has served a qualifying period, they will become entitled to a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (as taxable income).

How to Apply To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible by selecting APPLY NOW below Holds a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.Demonstrated advanced clinical practice knowledge, skills and experience within Paediatric Speech Pathology, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement, with skills in providing education and training.Strong time management skills, written and verbal communication and IT skills including the ability or willingness to use Telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, implement and evaluate quality improvement initiatives, research, and service development processes.Demonstrated experience in clinical and team leadership, including experience in staff and student supervision.Demonstrated excellence in communication skills including negotiation, decision making, advocacy and the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.Evidence of a Class C drivers licence and willingness to travel for work purposes.The Welcome Experience The Welcome Experience in Broken Hill connects you and your family with local people and local resources to help you settle in and feel at home in your new community faster.
