Senior Speech Pathologist - Carpentaria - Alice SpringsCarpentaria is a not-for-profit organisation with a 50-year history of providing disability and therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults in the Northern Territory.
Our multi-disciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Allied Health Assistants.
Salary and Benefits: Salary of $130K - $160K total remuneration & benefits packages5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loadingRelocation and retention package available, up to $12,000Salary packaging availableComprehensive induction program and shadowing of all disciplinesWhat's the role? Balance a clinical caseload and lead the daily operational needs of the speech pathology teamDevelop, plan, and conduct therapy sessions within the participants' natural environment that aligns with a person-centred and strengths-based modelEnsure integrated and comprehensive service delivery utilising a multidisciplinary and culturally informed approachEvaluate progress and outcomes using relevant measures, and discuss outcomes with NDIS participants, family, and key stakeholdersOversee planning of speech pathology service workflow, service development, and schedulesIs this the right role for you? Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and relevant registrationDemonstrated management and/or leadership experienceAbility to demonstrate clinical competency, which is outcomes-based, within the designated caseloadExperience working with individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgroundsStrong computer literacy in Microsoft and Apple applicationsNT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
