The Department of Health is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a Senior Speech Pathologist vacancy located at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
The role: The Audiology service at the Royal Hobart Hospital continues to grow and new opportunities have arisen, with more hours available for a highly motivated, dynamic, progressive, enthusiastic Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team working in Diagnostic and Cochlear Implant Audiology.
We are a team of some 20 staff, and we offer an exciting and rewarding place to work, featuring contemporary, evidence-informed practice that sees our Statewide Audiology Service closely linked to a broader multidisciplinary team. Here, you can work as a key part of an inclusive multi-disciplinary service while making a difference to the lives of a diverse and welcoming community.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time and part-time vacancies.Salary: $106,966 - $123,013 (pro-rata) per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022.Allowances:
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
