L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to drive the Quality Assurance aspects of the Airservices Australia Enterprise Network Modernization Program (ENMP). In this role, the Quality Manager will be responsible for the maintaining program compliance with the organisations quality process and procedures.

Essential Functions:

The Quality Manager reports to the Program Manager and will be responsible for maintaining ENMP program compliance with the required quality standards. Tasks and duties may involve:
Ensure that the program and staff adhere to the quality system and continues to meet the requirements of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.Ensure that the project continues to maintain independent quality accreditation.Act as spokesperson for the project on quality and accreditation matters when required.Collaboration with contracts, engineering, operations, supply chain, program leadership, external customer representatives to ensure contractual requirements are met while maintaining quality registers/records.Develop/implement an audit schedule/plan to ensure audits are conducted at the appropriate intervals supporting their importance to project while also ensuring compliance to internal/external requirements and standards (ISO 9001 etc.);Educate functions on quality requirements/expectations and drive accountability for compliance.Program interface for internal/external company audits (leads internal audits)Support and verify control of source code, configuration management and change management.Incorporate approved suggestions for improvement into the quality system.Where elements of the quality system are unworkable, cumbersome or need to change for other reason, ensure that necessary changes are made to the quality system.Facilitate & drive RCCA (root cause corrective action) take âownershipâ and collaboratively work with team to determine âtrueâ root cause, thus preventing repeat defects.Associate defects with COPQ (cost of poor quality) and quantify cost savings associated with defect reduction.
