Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)
The Senior Specialist – People Experience plays a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance and operational support on all people-related matters to leaders across Kinetic' Central Queensland business. This position involves partnering with leaders to enhance the overall people experience, driving strategic people planning, and contributing to transformational initiatives aligned with the company's mission and values. The role will involve travel to our Resources sites, particularly throughout the Bowen Basin.
You will:
Partner with leaders to cultivate an exceptional people experience for all team members.
Assist leaders in strategic people planning and forecasting.
Serve as the primary point of contact for leaders and team members on people-related issues within assigned businesses.
Coach business leaders and managers on best practices in people management, including policies, programs, and tactics.
Contribute to the development of the annual P&C strategic plan.
Implement HR-related programs, such as rewards and recognition and employee development initiatives.
Evaluate the impact of proposed changes and initiatives on employees and manage change effectively to minimise disruption.
Lead driver training function in the region.
The boxes you'll tick:
Significant human resources experience or equivalent education and experience.
Previous experience in a HR Business Partner, Generalist, or related high-level specialist role.
Strong consultation skills with experience influencing and interacting with executives.
Thorough knowledge of human resource management practices and employment-related legislation.
Demonstrated HR experience in a multi-business unit environment.
Proficiency in coaching, mediating, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, analysis, and problem-solving.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and exercise professional judgment.
