Senior Solution Designer, Java, Aws

Recruiting for a conduit between architecture and engineering! This is a bespoke role that requires a solution designer with a background in coding. The role is responsible for assessing requirements and completing detailed solution design artefacts including technical specifications in order to assist the build of new solutions within a cloud environment. You will be responsible for defining all layers in a large ecosystem, with numerous integration points. Creating a detailed design that engineers will use as a blueprint, to a more detailed level than an architect. Ideally, you will have been a developer in the past and taken a route to solution design. A list of criteria are as follows: In-depth knowledge of Java and API development. Strong AWS architecture & design skills. Experience with Spring/Spring Boot frameworks. REST API design. Knowledge of data, security and integration patterns and techniques. Experience in application architecture design and cloud migration strategies. Experience working with different data platforms including AWS Redshift / Google Big Query. Expert in integration technologies including API and event-driven architectures. Experience with relational database (SQL Server) and financial services data products/models.
