Here at the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC), we have an opportunity to join our Team as a Senior Solicitor (DA & Litigation) in the Legal, Policy and Compliance Division.

Our opportunity
As a Senior Solicitor, you will use initiative and experience to provide sound independent and authoritative advice, liaise with persons at senior levels, while at the same time being under the strategic direction of the General Counsel & Executive Director.
Key accountabilities:
Provide authoritative, accurate, and timely, strategic and expert legal advice and written briefings to the Commission, Directors, and staff on gambling matters relating to investigations, disciplinary, and litigation matters under the legislative, regulatory, and policy framework for gambling regulation in Victoria.
Who we are looking for:
To be successful in this position you will have:
Experience in the management of multiple contested litigation in a complex environment or comparable experience.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in advocacy and the provision of legal advice of an extremely high standard on complex and sensitive matters.
Ability to handle a large workload involving complex legal matters within limited timeframes.
