Responsibilities: Work in an Agile scrum team, responsible for Quality Assurance, proactively contribute to all agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, Estimation, Daily Stand ups and retrospectives).Work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master and stakeholders to get clarity on the requirements and reporting.Define scope, create and maintain test plans and test strategy; define and maintain test tools for testing and certification.Create and review test cases, raise and manage defects in Jira.Execute and review test cases within test cycle in Jira, analyse results, and report defects in a timely and efficient manner.Documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.Minimize production issues by ensuring adequate test coverage on testing tasks.Participate in the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation framework.Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and EFTPOS technology.Requirements: At least 5+ years for Quality assurance experience.At least 3+ years of testing EFTPOS terminals.Strong knowledge on payment industry and financial messaging standards, mainly ISO 8583 and AS2805.Proven experience in requirements analysis, test planning and environment setup.Proven experience writing test plans, test strategies, test cases, defect management and test reporting.Up to date industry best practices in software testing.Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks.Experience in test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray.Experience in Test Cases Traceability with Requirements (using JIRA, X-Ray).Strong team approach, "can do" attitude and ability to work in a high performing team and working collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.Proactive and assume responsibility.Nice-to-Have: Experience in automated testing is an added advantage.Knowledge of programming languages and automation tools.Self-motivated and ability to work with the business.Growth mindset and not afraid of a challenge.
