Functional Overview: As a Senior QA Engineer you will lead quality assurance efforts within an Agile scrum team, ensuring robust test coverage and effective defect management, with a focus on EFTPOS technology, payment industry standards, and continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks.

What you can expect: Work in an Agile scrum team, responsible for Quality Assurance, and proactively contribute to all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Estimation, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and stakeholders to gain clarity on requirements and reporting. Define scope, create, and maintain test plans and test strategies; define and maintain test tools for testing and certification. Create and review test cases, and manage defects in Jira. Execute and review test cases within the test cycle in Jira, analyze results, and report defects in a timely and efficient manner. Document and share knowledge across teams. Minimize production issues by ensuring adequate test coverage on all testing tasks. Participate in the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation framework. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and EFTPOS technology. What we are looking for: At least 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and 4+ years of experience testing EFTPOS terminals. Strong knowledge of the payment industry and financial messaging standards, particularly ISO 8583 and AS2805. Proven experience with schemes certification (MC, VISA, EFTPOS, UPI, etc.). Demonstrated experience in requirements analysis, test planning, and environment setup. Proven experience in writing test plans, test strategies, test cases, defect management, and test reporting. Experience in API testing and familiarity with API testing tools. Experience with test management tools such as Jira and X-Ray. Strong team-oriented approach, a "can-do" attitude, the ability to work collaboratively to meet tight deadlines and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility.
