They've got strong ties to the maritime industry and are building comprehensive, cutting-edge equipment for maritime clients and future submarine programs.
Think USVs, autonomous mine-hunting capabilities and sonar acoustic technology.
You'd join a team of 60, mostly engineers, that have an average tenure of 5 years thanks to the flexibility, culture and tech.
Your work will be more important.
You'll have close links to the CTO which means things move quickly, decisions aren't laboured and you're free to focus on the technical work you enjoy.
You'd be the first hire on a major new project team.
This first role will form the core of an expanding Java capability working on distributed systems over Ethernet networks.
Here's What You'll Need If you have a current security clearance (baseline or NV1) it would be an advantage, but as a minimum, you'll need to be an Aussie Citizen.
You're skilled in designing software systems across the entire lifecycle within the defence industry, or similar complex product development environment like medical, automotive, rail or heavy industry.
You have experience with technologies like modern Java, Networking, Databases (SQL) and Software containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
