We're seeking a senior software engineer passionate about usability, clean design, and data-intensive applications to join our team. A successful candidate will collaborate closely with product management and other team members to drive the design and implementation of a cutting-edge product.
Ideal Candidate Requirements: 5+ years of commercial experience in Java or other object-oriented languagesExperience developing web applications in Typescript and ReactExperience with building Python web servicesExperience with relational data modelling and SQL (Postgres, MySQL, etc)Hands-on experience in AST and control flow graph to analyze and traverse code structures programmaticallyGood understanding of algorithms, data structures, and their time and space complexityExposure to generative AI and Machine LearningCuriosity, a positive attitude, and a drive to continue learningExcellent verbal and written communication skills Position Expectations: Contribute high quality code to the Relational Migrator productParticipate in code reviews and technical discussionsGive and solicit feedback on technical design documents and pull requestsCollaborate with Product Management and UX design teams, help prioritize the backlog and plan sprintsCollaborate with product management, product designers, and other engineersPerform tasks related to process such as CI/CD, quality, testing, etc Success Measures: Within three months, you'll have familiarized yourself with MongoDB database and aggregation language, backend tech stack, and software development infrastructureWithin six months, you'll have worked on and delivered a medium-scale feature in the product, contributed to architectural direction, and helped deliver a few releasesWithin 12 months, you'll have contributed to the product vision, familiarized yourself with other teams' work, and delivered at least one large-scale feature #J-18808-Ljbffr
