Perimeter is searching for Senior Full-Stack Software Engineers to create and support an intuitive, real-time communication tool for first responders and communities affected by natural disasters such as wildfires and hurricanes. For Perimeter, user experience is more than just a differentiator – ease-of-use and clarity are essential tenets of the product and make all the difference in dire situations during a disaster. By helping us iterate and improve our product, you will help to create a unique user experience in high-stress, high-risk environments.
Perimeter's mission is to provide trusted information to bridge the gap between governmental agencies and the communities they serve. We do this by improving the quality of current evacuation warnings and other communications: rather than rely on text-based notifications sent to entire cities or counties, emergency managers can use Perimeter to send communities accurate and detailed evacuation maps with recommended routes and guidance on where to go. Unlike a traditional text message, Perimeter provides real-time information on how a disaster is progressing.
