You will build and support high and quality, reliable solutions that determine how millions of people send their documents to the bank. Our Software technology powers the correspondence behind Australia's number one banking app, Netbank and 30 other group businesses. See yourself in our team Content services – Ingest, Interpret and Validate crew sits within Operations Technology and its purpose is to provide and maintain the core services allowing high volume document ingestion serving our Home Loan, Credit Card and other customers. Our team is currently exploring the future options for our capability, whilst being responsible for maintaining the current technologies serving the existing capability. You will be working directly with our SWR and Operations teams to eliminate manual tasks, maintain stability and improve document ingestion processes for our business stakeholders and customers alike. Our team is responsible to innovate in the Intelligent Document Processing area and incorporate more componentised, future ready solutions and drive technology simplifications onto the Cloud in the future. We are interested in hearing from people who Are strong in 'You Built It, You Run It' ways of working, continually seeking to improve our operating environment. Have developed and supported Cloud based environments, cloud migration work highly desirable. Like writing code, can optimize Database queries and strong in MS SQL Server. Is proactive and has a go-getter attitude and who works well in a team environment Can guide junior engineers and collaborate with the team and Product Managers to continually improve our Capability. Have an SRE mindset and can create tools to monitor and improve; can own the engineering backlog. Technical skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; AWS Cloud and cloud patterns (for the future). Strong in Full Stack Development. .NET, Java, Git Hub, Team City and experience of CICD. Production Monitoring Tools and how to get the best out of them. Ability to understand business and technical requirements and come up with detailed design artefacts. Have an understanding in document ingestion methods and technologies (desirable).
