As a Senior Software Engineer, working with one of our Federal Government Clients, you'll take a leading role in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and security processes. This position requires technical leadership, creativity, and the ability to solve highly complex problems.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop web/desktop applications, web services, and batch jobs using Java, Python, and Microsoft .NET.Conduct technical analysis, prototyping, unit testing, and maintenance activities.Lead software releases, ensuring production support and maintenance post go-live.Execute independent code reviews and develop unit tests for software modules.What We're Looking For Proven experience in object-oriented software development within complex IT environments.Expertise in Java SE, Unix, SQL, and Google Web Toolkit (GWT).Experience with DevOps practices, including builds, packaging, and releases.Strong capabilities in system design, integration, and testing.Active Baseline Security Clearance is required.About FinXL IT Professional Services
