This role is an excellent opportunity for someone to come onboard and make a real difference in a bank that is putting its technology first.
You will be joining one of the essential technology teams at BOQ as a Senior Software Engineer known as Group Integration Platform to help with integrating various technologies for our bank wide digital transformation.
You will be responsible for:
Providing input to operational considerations related to in-house applications with a particular focus to digital channel and API development.Development of high-level integration designs.Analyse and translate business requirements into conceptual solutions.Day-to-day support of in-house applications and integrated systems.
This includes all second level support items as well as defect management and after-hours support as needed.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for BOQ on-premise and cloud environments.Ensuring all support issues are turned around within appropriate time frames in line with the urgency/priority of issues.Adhering to BOQ change control processes, including ensuring that all changes are appropriately tested and implemented properly.About you Senior level Software Development experience using backend applications in C#, .Net, .Net Core.Deep understanding and working experience in integrating applications and Azure cloud technologies.Extensive experience in deploying and hosting solutions to the Azure platform.Proficient in Restful Web Service Design, Service Oriented Application Design.Experience reading and understanding technical documentation such as API Documents, Process Flow diagrams etc.Knowledge and skills in Azure API Management Platform, or equivalent systems such as CA, Apigee or Mulesoft (desirable)About Us BOQ Group is a truly unique group of challenger brands with a purpose – to provide a genuine alternative to Australian financial services for customers and employees.
