What you'll bring You'll need 5+ years of commercial experience in full-stack web development, along with: Front End: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Bun, Next.js and other modern web development frameworks.
Backend: Strong knowledge of database systems and data modelling, as well as at least one backend language or platform.
You can contribute towards software architecture and consider design decisions; you know what good looks like when it comes to building great software products.

What you'll do You will join the 'Matchmaker' side of the LawConnect team: Building the LawConnect User -> Lawyer matchmaking engine.
We develop the Legal Talent pipeline that connects Lawyers who can help with the LawConnect end-user.
You'll partner closely with the broader team at LEAP and our extensive network of legal experts to design and develop an ever-evolving web application.
You will work autonomously to take charge of your projects, make decisions, and drive the team towards an ambitious roadmap.
You will cultivate and nurture your team, help your manager define new roles and hire talented engineers to join you as it becomes necessary.
You'll assist your manager in checking the progress of the product and refine its roadmap as you go.
Keep up-to-date with software engineering trends and tools to recommend innovative technologies and methods that can improve development processes and product quality
