Adelaide SA 5000, AustraliaDescription of the position:The successful candidate will have demonstrated at least 8 years of experience in front-end software development and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
This individual will be creative and innovative, playing a pivotal role in developing user-friendly product features and modules that enhance the user experience of our products.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and deploy modern, intuitive, and responsive front-end features using frameworks such as React and Node.js.Maintain a high-quality front-end codebase, ensuring adherence to best coding practices and principles.Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.Review front-end code work for accuracy and functionality.Debug, maintain, and scale front-end applications.Collaborate with internal and external users to automate workflows, providing clients with efficient and accurate service.Troubleshoot front-end issues and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.Stay current with front-end trends and developments that can be applied to enhance company product offerings.Display a willingness to learn and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies, interacting seamlessly with both technical and business teams.Skills and Experience:Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.5+ years' experience in a front-end development role within SaaS companies.Proficient in HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks, with a strong understanding of responsive design principles.Experience with back-end development, relational databases (MySQL or MariaDB), and server-side technologies is highly beneficial.Familiarity with DevOps practices in an agile development environment, including CI/CD and cloud services management – AWS experience preferred.Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment.Demonstrable coding skills with a strong portfolio of front-end projects.Join a dynamic team at Trellis Technologies, where we prioritize a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Work with a highly skilled team of technical and domain (ESG) experts, including Data, Software, and ML Engineers.Our environment fosters collaboration and respects the diverse perspectives of all team members, ensuring that every voice can be heard.While based in the vibrant and well-equipped Lot Fourteen, team members enjoy flexibility in their work arrangements (with one WFH day a week), promoting a balance that accommodates various working styles and personal needs.We are committed to professional development and learning, offering opportunities to engage with emerging technologies and trends that can enhance both our products and your career trajectory.Experience a leadership style that is focused on empowerment and accountability, supporting both personal and professional growth.0:00Hear from the Trellis Technologies Pty Ltd team
