You will spend time coding, technical design, and problem-solving, and contribute to evolving Jasper's AI platform. You will be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code into production multiple times a day.This fully remote role reports to the Technical Lead Manager and is open to candidates located anywhere in Australia.What you will do at JasperDesign, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve softwareWrite readable, maintainable, self-documenting or well-documented code to solve complex problems with simple, elegant solutionsTake initiative to identify and solve critical problems for Jasper's customersScope and execute complex tasks in a timely and effective mannerOptimize performance and address scale issues proactively, including on-call responsibilitiesWork effectively with product and design partners to deliver projectsWhat you will bring to Jasper6+ years of experience in feature development and system designDemonstrated proficiency and continuous improvement in Jasper's technical stack (cloud platforms, AI technologies)Demonstrated breadth and depth of technical expertise across multiple domains (AI, Cloud, application platforms, etc)Proven track record of software delivery for customers and their outcomesDemonstrated ability to mentor other engineersCompensation RangeThe expected base salary range offered for this role is $180,000 - $210,000 AUD.
