We are seeking an experienced Senior SoftwareDeveloper to support ongoing business operations acrossmultiple systems.
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for theintegration, development, enhancement and maintenance of softwaresolutions that support the delivery of relevant, timely andcost-effective information systems, services and products. The roleis also accountable for the requirements analysis, technicalassessment, design and implementation of the department'sbusiness systems, as well as the production of procedural andsystems support documentation, and contributes to the management ofthe department IT enterprise platform environment.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
Knowledge of programming languages, tools and standardssuch as .NET, C#, XML, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, SQL,SharePoint. Knowledge of software development, web server platforms,databases and tools such as Visual Studio .NET, SharePoint2019, SQL Server 2019, jQuery, Bootstrap. Knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures associatedwith web publishing and modern graphical presentation software,with awareness of new technology. Experience in building software solutions usingInfrastructure as a Service and/or Platform as a Serviceenvironments. Experience in the diagnosis and resolution of software andinfrastructure problems.Experience developing C# .NET REST API solutions & C#.NET core console applications. Exercise good judgement in deploying applications in anefficient way and implementing change requests which have wideranging Impacts.Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in InformationTechnology or a related discipline.Apply today!What can we offer you!
