About the Position
As a Senior Software Developer, you will:
Analyze, design, and develop Information Systems and interfaces using various programming environments, applying agile methodologies.
Offer technical expertise, guidance, training, and support for existing systems.
Manage data capture, design, storage, retrieval, and manipulation for business intelligence.
Adhere to practices in incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
Maintain and develop technical knowledge to support TASkeno's systems.
Build relationships with stakeholders to address business needs and contribute to projects.
Document and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Oversee projects from conception to completion.
About You
You are a collaborative and skilled Software Engineer with:
A relevant Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
Proficiency in Visual Studio, C#, client application development (e.g., Blazor), APIs, SQL Server, Azure technologies, Databricks, MS Fabric, Power BI, and Dynamics 365.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD.
Proven experience with service-oriented architectures.
IT Service Management (ITSM) certifications (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) are desirable.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum principles.
Experience with tools such as Jira.
Strong understanding of database design principles and documentation requirements.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage your own time.
The ability to obtain a Tasmanian Gaming Commission Technician "A" license.
