The following experience is vital to your success in this role: Technical skills: Development platforms such as C# 4.5+, .NET Desktop development, preferably WPF, SQLSoftware design specifically developing automate repetitive tasks including testing, and deploymentExperience in a complex business domainBuilding relationships and influencing diverse stakeholdersExperience in collaborating and methodical mindset to deliver strategic objectivesEnthusiasm to learn and grow with our teamExperience and/or exposure in water management, the energy market and continuous improvement standards would also be beneficial, but not mandatoryEven if you don't meet 100% of these criteria, we still want to hear from you!
About the role: You'll be a key member of a cross-functional scrum team working to deliver innovative market facing solutions which enable Hydro Tasmania to continue powering Tasmania and Australia with renewable energy. You will own and establish outcomes about 24/7 trading applications that support Hydro Tasmania's position in the National Electricity Market.
Using the skills and experience you have accumulated over your career, you will be key in providing technical guidance to your broader team. This role will provide a unique opportunity to be guidance and direction in large scale projects as well as leading your own projects including assembling a team and developing architecture.
