THE OPPORTUNITY Due to continual growth, Stratco are looking for a skilled professional to join our agile Software Development team.
Stratco develops a range of customised software applications that are used throughout the business.
Primarily, this role will focus on a .NETbased CAD tool that is used throughout the business.
As part of the Software Development team, you will guide, coach and collaborate with other Software Developers, and take responsibility for a selection of customer-facing and internal software platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES Work across a range of .NET-based applications and services.
Contribute to the Software Development team as a leading member.
Design, develop and test applications according to user requirements and development standards.
Develop and enhance quality assurance practices to suit the environment and application.
Contribute to defining the strategic direction and associated roadmaps for the Stratco customised application software landscape.
Provide coaching and guidance to other developers in the design, development and maintenance of software applications.
Ensure the stable and sustainable provision of IT platforms with a focus on managing the Application Software Lifecycle for the in-scope portfolio of applications.
Maintenance and support of required SQL databases and other back-end components of the technology stack.
Action and deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support and service requests in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
Collaborate with internal team members and external customers to define business and functional requirements.
Accordingly, we are targeting the very best, with your experience encompassing: Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant experience.
Strong intellectual capacity, communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
5+ years' experience in developing and supporting enterprise software applications.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work with multiple technology stacks.
Ability to support and develop legacy applications.
Ability to coach and train others.
.NET experience, including ASP.NET.
SQL experience, including T-SQL and ODBC.
