About the role We are looking for a highly motivated Level 4 Social Worker – Psycho-Oncology Counsellor to join our skilled and supportive team at Dubbo Health Service. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the Team working within our world class Western Cancer Centre, helping to create positive change in the lives of Cancer patients and their loved ones. The primary purpose of this role is to provide psycho-social assessment, counselling interventions and complex psycho-social support to cancer patients/clients, carers and their relatives accessing the Western Cancer Centre Dubbo. As a senior clinician, you will be part of a supportive and growing team. The successful applicant will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role, work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team and have a focus on the delivery of safe, effective, quality patient care.
