Seeking a Senior Social Worker - Northern Cancer Service to assess and respond to the psychosocial care needs of clients, their families, and carers, working with a multidisciplinary focus with allied health, nursing, and medical professionals of the W.P. Holman Clinic.
The Role: Relational skills for engaging and communicating with both patients and colleagues in person-centred and trauma-informed ways.A commitment to engaging in quality improvement initiatives, reflective practice, and clinical reasoning for the purpose of best patient outcomes.A demonstrated understanding of and ability to provide services to patients living with life-limiting conditions, chronic disease, and acute conditions.Three years' experience and/or post-graduate specialty in oncology or palliative care services.The Team: We work together to provide a collaborative trauma-informed working environment where all diversities are celebrated and valued.We support and foster a growth mindset.We value compassion, accountability, respect, and always aim for excellence together.Details of appointment: Fixed term full-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, as soon as we can onboard you until 31 March 2025.
