About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Exercise independent high-level Social Work clinical decision-making skills integrating evidence-based practice to contribute to multidisciplinary complex case management to achieve best practice outcomes with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Develop effective professional relationships and demonstrate a high level of advocacy, negotiation and conflict management skills between patients and their families, other health professionals and stakeholders to inform/influence clinical outcomes and/or encourage behavioural change. Demonstrate leadership and compliance with departmental, organisational, and legislative requirements, including data collection, departmental and social work team forums, and ensuring that service initiatives are integrated into clinical practice and organisational work unit guidelines and policies.
