SLR's rapidly growing social performance team are looking to recruit a Senior Consultant with a strong background in designing and delivering Social Impact Assessments, first nations engagement and designing and implementing community and stakeholder engagement programs. We are looking for a proven expert with 5-10 years of experience in Social Performance and consulting. Based from our Perth offices, you will play a crucial role in the rapid growth of our national Social Performance team and collaborate with local colleagues, as well as those in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

You will work in partnership with a good mix of our 23 Disciplines, learning from and collaborating with many of our 1000 (and counting!) employees in APAC; this opportunity will see you:
Support the Social Performance team across APAC.Provide specialist advice to clients on social impact assessment including SIA management plans. The SIAs should have full consideration of social and communities' needs, priorities and perceptions, and meet all relevant Australian requirements as well as comply with relevant international standards where possible.Completing projects to a high standard in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall client satisfaction.Liaise with local authorities and contractors as well as other leading consultants from other disciplines and collaborate with others on the national scene.Adhere to professional standards, ethics and quality procedures.Contribute to our proud company culture.ExperienceIn addition to being an outgoing and dynamic team player, our ideal candidate will have:
5-10 years of experience in Social Performance/Social Impact/ Communications and Engagement roles.Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, social sciences, or a related field.Knowledge of Social Impact Assessment and ability to adhere to national and international standards.Experience in development of organisation and project sustainability strategies to achieve outcomes for our clients.Interest in ESG frameworks, circular economy, climate change adaptation and resilience.Proven ability to do strategic business development.Positive, can-do attitude, and an ability to work with multiple disciplines and teams across a large dynamic business.Experience in the consulting industry is preferred.Our BenefitsWe are most proud of our diverse, friendly and expert team, who work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
