We have 7 clinics in the Perth Region and 2 clinics in Melbourne. In addition to our outpatient clinics, CRS runs three Sleep Laboratories in metropolitan Perth and a fourth sleep laboratory in Bunbury at St John of God Private Hospital.We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join CRS as a Senior Sleep Scientist working from our inpatient Perth-based Sleep Laboratories, as well performing home based sleep study set-ups from our outpatient clinics. This role requires our Scientists to:Conduct sleep studies, monitoring and recording both Laboratory and home-based studies, as well as associated spirometry testing.Participate in the analysis and interpretation of sleep studies.Provide high quality patient care in a professional and supportive manner.Conduct regular equipment calibration and maintenance testing to ensure readings and variables are reporting correctly.Lead, in collaboration with the Sleep Services Manager, the creation and maintenance of sleep testing equipment requirements, procedures, training plans and competency assessment tools.Contribute towards accreditation activities as directed by Sleep Services Manager.Coordinate supervision and training of Sleep Laboratory staff.Review sleep testing trends and requirements, recommending extensions to the CRS sleep testing service to support the delivery in excellence of patient care.Analyse and present relevant reports to the Sleep Services Manager regarding operational KPIs.Minimum experience as a Sleep Scientist of at least three years is essential. A degree in health sciences (or related) is required for this role, with a certification in Sleep Science (RPSGT or equivalent), or willingness to work towards certification, is highly desirable. The successful candidate(s) will be eligible for membership with Australia and New Zealand Sleep Science Association (ANZSSA).
