We are providing a more efficient and integrated water system to cater to the growth of QLD and maintain and enhance outstanding environmental outcomes. Our Water team offers services across the full water cycle, delivering major pipelines, large pumping stations, advanced water, wastewater and recycling treatment.
KBR have significant work in hand supporting key water utilities such as Urban Utilities, Unity Water, Sydney Water, Water NSW, SA Water, and Melbourne Water to achieve phased savings in capital expenditure, while delivering the best environmental and community outcomes.
The Opportunity
As the Senior Superintendent on the Burpengary Sewage Treatment Plant upgrade you will be responsible for delivering 3rd party independent engineering advice across the construction of this complex infrastructure. You will work within the alliance of constructers, designers and client side representatives ensuring construction phases are delivered on scope and within commercial guidelines.
You will play a vital role in the water team and strongly contribute to this major project's technical direction, commercial outcome and successful delivery. Our team is also exploring new ways to integrate virtual reality and artificial intelligence on projects, offering you the opportunity to future proof and broaden your skills in the digital sphere.
Who are you?
To be suitable for this position you have the following qualifications and experience.

Engineering degree or equivalent science or construction professional qualification
Deep experience and knowledge of construction in water, wastewater, utilities or infrastructure
Project Engineering/ Project Management experience within construction, consulting, design, or commissioning.
You possess a pragmatic approach to the development of constructable design solutions and have proven commercial acumen in the delivery of water infrastructure.
You will perform work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
You will provide commercial and contractual leadership on behalf of the project, advising on and approving scope changes, variations and risks
