Our client is looking to acquire an experienced site manager for a new build hospital project in Townsville, must have experience on projects $300M+.
Wilder Fox is exclusively partnering with one of Australia's leading Construction companies for the purpose of recruiting a experienced Site Manager with a proven track record within the health/hospital space. Our client is looking to acquire an experienced site manager for a new build hospital project in Townsville, must have experience on projects $300M+. Roughly 2-3 year project timeline.

Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for the successful execution and delivery of a hospital projects valued $400M+ Manage all on-site activities, including coordinating trades, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Oversee and enforce strict adherence to project schedules, budgets and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure workmanship and safety compliance. Collaborate closely with the project management team to monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement effective solutions. Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly. Lead and motivate site teams, providing clear direction, guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Implement and enforce site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress updates and change orders. Conduct thorough snagging and defect management, ensuring timely resolution and completion of all outstanding items. Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Site Manager, specifically in the new build health space. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Solid understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, cost control, and risk management. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contracts. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment. Proficient in using construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
