This role involves technical coordination of the construction process, bridging the gap between design, building services, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.Key Responsibilities:Assist Project Management in the value management process to maximise financial benefits of the designManage changes to engineering design while adhering to budgetary requirementsPrepare sub-contract packages in collaboration with the Contracts Manager/AdministratorsMaintain awareness of contractual obligations for both head contracts and sub-contractsCommunicate relevant information to consultants, authorities, site supervisors, construction workers, and sub-contractorsMonitor and review performance of direct reports, providing leadership, mentoring, and coachingHelp create and implement the Project Management PlanReview design for compliance with regulatory requirementsConduct programming, planning, and forecasting to ensure construction activities align with overall project timelineEnsure adherence to quality assurance processes and standardsDevelop and implement a site safety plan, focusing on OH&S hazardsKey Skills Required:Proven background in Engineering, Commercial Construction, and Delivery processesAbility to manage projects from early design concepts through to completionStrong understanding of Engineering principles and experience with documentation deliveryAbility to read and challenge technical drawingsKnowledge of the Building Code of AustraliaExperience with Design, Estimating, and ProcurementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA Note on Diversity:We welcome applications from people of all genders, cultures, and backgrounds.
