Maali Group is seeking an experienced Senior SHEQ Advisor looking for the next step in their career. This is a great opportunity to diversify your SHEQ experience in utilities, construction, and resources industry.
Our Ideal Candidate Is: Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & SafetyKnowledge of relevant legislative and compliance requirementsAble to provide general safety support & training when requiredEnsure compliance is maintained with safety documentsAbility to work autonomously and demonstrate initiativeAble to support the operations team develop and implement strategic proposals and tendersDemonstrated experience in achieving performance goals and objectivesHas excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and is able to effectively present information to team members in a way in which they will comprehend, understand and followAble to travel between job site locations as required and occasional site visits across WA.Essential Requirements: Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum Certificate IV OHS/WHS)Demonstrated minimum 5 years' experience as a SHEQ Advisor in utilities, construction, or resources industryExperience maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 Accreditation and completing internal and external audits where requiredCurrent National Police ClearanceConstruction Safety Induction White CardValid Australian Driver's License – "C" ClassHighly Regarded: Cert IV in Training & Assessment beneficialExperience or qualifications in risk management, quality management and environmental managementAdvanced written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.As a majority owned Indigenous business Maali Group values diversity and inclusion and we strongly encourage females and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
